Public Act No. 22-15, also known as the Connecticut Consumer Data Protection Act (“CTDPA”) provides Connecticut residents with certain additional rights related to Meals USA, Inc.’s processing of your personal data.
If you are a Connecticut resident, you have the following rights:
Sensitive Data
As described in this Privacy Notice, Meals USA, Inc. may process certain personal information that is considered “Sensitive Data” as defined by Connecticut law. Processing of sensitive data only occurs when you knowingly take affirmative action to provide such information to us for processing.
Sensitive personal data is defined by the CTDPA to include: (A) data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, mental or physical health condition or diagnosis, sex life, sexual orientation or citizenship or immigration status, (B) the processing of genetic or biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying an individual, (C) personal data collected from a known child with parental or guardian authorization and consent, or (D) precise geolocation data. To the extent that we collect sensitive data, you have the right to consent or revoke your consent to the collection and/or use of such data.
Targeted Advertising
You may opt out of targeted advertising. As described under our “Cookies Policy,” some of Meals USA, Inc.’s websites and mobile applications use cookies, web beacons and other similar tracking technologies to enable essential features, or for data analytics and marketing purposes. You may opt-out of these technologies by modifying your cookie preferences by clicking manage settings on our website.
Profiling
Meals USA, Inc. does not conduct “profiling” as defined by Connecticut law.
Sale of Personal Data

How to Make a Request Under this Policy
In addition to using the links Do Not Sell My Personal Information and manage settings,
there are several ways for you to submit any of the above personal information requests. You may:
Meals USA, Inc. will endeavor to respond to all requests within 30 days. To respond to your requests to access, obtain a copy of, correct or delete your personal data, we will need to verify your identity and/or authority to make such requests and access, receive, modify or delete such personal data. When you submit a request, we will take steps to verify your identity. You are not required to create an account with us to submit a request. We may ask you to provide us with information about yourself in order to verify your identity. We will only use the personal information you provide in connection with identity verification to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request and whenever feasible, we will attempt to match the information you provide with information we may already have about you.
You may use an Authorized Agent to Make such Requests
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal data. Authorized agents may submit such requests to privacy@mealsusa.com Authorized agents can make a request on your behalf if we are provided with verification of your identity and confirmation that you provided the agent authority to act on your behalf.
Decisions made by Meals USA, Inc. pursuant to any above request may be appealed to Meals USA, Inc.’s Privacy Officer by submitting a request to review the decision by mail at Meals USA, Inc., Attention Privacy, 1515 Market Street, Suite 1200 PMB #808, Philadelphia, PA 19102 or by electronic mail at privacy@mealsusa.com. Within 45 days of your submission (but no later than 60 days), we will inform you in writing of the appeal decision with an explanation of the reason for the decision. If you are dissatisfied with the appeal decision, you may contact the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office at https://portal.ct.gov/AG/Contact-the-Attorney-Generals-Office/Contact-the-Attorney-Generals-Office.
